I’m Rebecka, the woman behind Davidsson Comms.
Davidsson Comms was born out of my drive to build and create something that can help people move forward, and create what they stand for. My motto in life to everything I do is "What is the solution?", and with that mindset I have built Davidsson Comms - solving problems for clients and ourselves as we go.
I also thrive to inspire other people, especially women, to do their own thing. To dare and take action and building a life they want to live. Just like I have done. My mission is to give people work and a purpose that they are proud of, and inspire more and more people to listen to their inner voice and walk their own journey.
Davidsson Comms is driven by me, with a network of freelancers around me. Which gives me, and the clients, the flexibility and the cost effective soutions to work with us as much as needed.
As for the name Davidsson Comms - it actually has a story. My grandfather sat me, my sister and my two girl cousins down. The only grandchildren that would inherit the name Davidsson. Anven that we are all girls - his wish was that at least one of us would keep the name Davidsson once we got married - and name our kids Davidsson so the name would live on. So why wouldn't I name my agency Davidsson Comms after that wish from him? Letting the name live on through collaborations and being registered in the Swedish tax-books forever. For you, farfar.
And who am I? Rebecka, the positive, coffee and wine Iover - traveling through life creating my was as I go. I am currently switching bases between Stockholm, Gothenburg, Barcelona and Frankfurt. I always dreamt and manifested of a life where I could be free and work from anywhere. And that is exactly what I do right now.
I’m originally from a small village in southeast Sweden, where I grew up dancing and longing for a life travelling and seeing the world. With that said, at 21 years old I moved to Sydney in Australia - to dance. After my time dancing, I completed a Bachelor of Journalism and started a content business, working with restaurants, personal trainers and online magazines in Sydney creating content for social media.
My experience after that: I graduated from a Master in Communications from Gothenburg University and after that working with an advertising agency in Stockolm for 3 years.
With experience as a social media strategist, project manager, photographer, and content creator, I bring equal parts creativity and strategy into social media and digital communication - solving one problem after the other.
